About Georgia Home Contractors
Georgia Home Contractors is a directory of home contractors in Georgia, run by AppleSeedIQ LLC. Homeowners use it for free. Contractors pay for the project requests they choose to accept and for optional advertising.
Where the listings come from
Most listings were created from publicly available business information, such as the name, address, phone number, website and the trade a business lists for itself. Those listings are marked as not yet claimed.
A business can claim its listing, correct it, and add details. Until a listing is claimed, we cannot confirm who runs it, and it does not receive project requests.
A business that wants its listing removed can write to listings@georgiahomecontractors.com.
What a credential check means here
Licence, insurance and bonding details on a listing are entered by the contractor. We show them as the contractor’s own claims.
Where a person on our team has checked a specific credential against an official public record, the listing names the record, its date, the licence holder and the date we checked. For example, a listing may say it appears on the Georgia EPD water-well contractor roster dated September 2, 2026. That statement covers that one credential on that date. It does not mean the business is licensed for other work, and it is not a background check.
We do not run background checks, verify insurance, or rate workmanship.

Reviews written on this site are read by a person before they appear. We do not remove a review for being negative, and a contractor cannot pay to have one taken down.
Star ratings collected by Google are labelled as Google’s. We did not gather or check them.
How the site makes money
- Contractors pay for each project request they accept. The price is shown to them before they accept it.
- Contractors can buy optional memberships that discount those requests.
- Contractors can pay for featured placement. Paid placement is always labelled as sponsored.
- Homeowners never pay to use the site or to send a request.
